After 23 years of teaching Art in Memphis I have decided to focus on creating jewelry full time. In other word, living the dream !

I trained as a printmaker with a focus on intaglio.  Etching and engraving metal plates and seeing the ink pressed down into incised textures is when I first fell in love with moving metal.  Since childhood I have made jewelry.  At first using found objects and plants then moving on to precious metals, gemstones and vintage finds.  

I suppose my time spent in the classroom influenced my need for ongoing education andI have been fortunate to study with many jewelers that I admire.  These explorations have benefited my love of travel, giving me a nudge to travel throughout the US and Europe.
